Next steps
1. If removed, install expansion cards into the riser and connect any cable disconnected.
2. If applicable, install the air shroud.
NOTE: If applicable, open the PCIe card holder latch on the air shroud to install the full length card.
3. Install any device drivers required for the card as described in the documentation for the card.
Removing the Dell ultraspeed drive duo card from the expansion card shroud
Prerequisites
● Remove the System cover
● Remove the Riser 2 module
Steps
1. Press the tab at the end of the shroud and lift the expansion card shroud.
2. Remove the (M2x2.5) screw.
3. Remove the Dell ultraspeed drive duo card from the slot.
Installing the Dell ultraspeed drive duo card into the expansion card shroud
Steps
1. Remove the (M2x2.5) mounting screw.
2. Insert the dell ultraspeed drive duo card into the slot and replace the SSD mounting screw.
3. Close the shroud until the latch "clicks".
4. Slide the Dell Ultraspeed Drive Duo Card into the riser slot.
5. Close the riser 1 module release latch.
