4. Press the release latch (1) and slide the optical drive outward to release it from the drive bay (2).
5. Remove the screws from the optical drive and remove the bracket.
Installing the 5.25-inch Optical Drive
1. Place the optical drive on the bracket and tighten the screws to secure the optical drive.
2. Slide the optical drive into the drive bay.
3. Connect the power and data cables to the optical drive.
4. Install:
a. front cover
b. right cover
