How to use the top conventional oven
Top oven “Function” selector (Fig. 15)
Select Light, Oven or Grill function by turning the control knob (fig. 15) until the indicator is
in line with the function printed in the control panel.
Light The oven light is switched on.
Oven It is advisable to preheat the oven until the set temperature has been reached
i.e: when the indicator light above the function selector goes off. During
cooking, do not open the door unless it is absolutely necessary.
Grill Always grill with the oven door closed and do not use the grill for
longer than 30 minutes at any one time.
Set the function selector knob to the grill position and the temperature
selector knob to a max. 200°C.
The temperature can be varied depending on the food being cooked (max.
200°C).
Before using the grill, pre-heat for about five minutes. Position the grill pan on
the highest shelf position and keep checking as it could easily burn.
To avoid possible smoking during grilling it is advisable to add a little water
to the grill pan.
The oven is supplied with a grill pan handle which clips onto the grill pan.
The handle must be removed before closing the oven door.
We recommend that you use oven gloves when using the grill pan handle or
when removing the grill pan or oven shelves as they become very hot when
in use.
