Q To reduce harmonics we want to use AFE2000. We do not need regeneration;
do we still need the input reactor?
A Yes, AFE2000 does not only reduce harmonics, correct the power factor and
regenerate braking energy back into the mains power supply, but also stabilises its
DC output voltage. For all these functions the reactor is necessary (think of it as a
switched-mode power supply).
Q How to connect the AFE LC filter?
A Refer to the AFE user manual (which user manual?)
Q Why do we get ocn fault?
A When the recommended LC-filter is used, please connect r1,s1,t1 to the LC-filter
Us1,Vs1,Ws1 and not to the RC reactor so the AFE can lock to the mains..
