Q Pr00-03 setting is different in the summary and description, which one is right?
A There is a difference in the settings for Pr00-03 in the Summary of Parameter Settings
and in the Description of Parameter Settings. The latter is correct. It will be corrected
in the next version of the user manual.
Q Is it possible to get AErr message when the PID feedback signal on ACI is lost?
A No, when the ACI input for PID feedback is used, you cannot get “AErr” message.
Instead, you can have FbE (FeedbackError) message, see Sensorless Vector Control
Micro Drive VFD-EL Series User manual - Chapter 6. You have to set Pr10-01 and
then set Pr10-08 and 10-09 accordingly. You can set an output to 20 to have a signal
in case of FbE.
Q How to read the PWM AFM output by a digital voltmeter?
A On VFD-EL the AFM output is a 1kHz PWM signal, which is suitable for read-out by
an analogue voltmeter but not always by a digital voltmeter.
The signal can be smoothed by a 100kΩ/100nF combination. This is only suitable for
high-impedance digital voltmeters or equipment.
Q Is it possible in VFD-EL to read AVI and ACI directly via Modbus?
A Yes, it is possible.
