Q What is the class and max. motor length for VFD-L2?
A For VFDxxxL21B/E the class is EN61800-3:2011 C2 with 10m shielded motor cable
both for conducted and radiated emission.
Q How do Pr06-02, 06-03 and 06-04 work together?
A OL2 happens always when output current >Pr06-03 for time Pr06-04 and the
conditions below are met.
Pr06-02=1 or 3:
When OL2 occurs, the drive keeps running and no warning message on the display.
You can set Pr03-03=4 for the relay to activate in that case.
Pr06-02=2 or 4:
When OL2 occurs, the drive stops and ”OL2” is displayed. You can set Pr03-03=4 for
the relay to activate in that case.
Pr06-02=1 or 2:
OL2 happens when output frequency ≥ command frequency (H≥F)
Pr06-02=3 or 4:
OL2 happens when output frequency < command frequency (H<F). So during
acceleration.
Q Which Modbus commands are available?
A 03 = read N words
06 = write 1 word
08 (loop detection) and 10 (write multiple registers) are not available.
Q Does VFD-L have brake chopper built-in?
A No. The VFD-L manual is wrong. This parameter has no function.
