Current transformer can detect the current of controlled conductor. It is shipped together
with the Meter. For CT installation, please refer to the section of 4.8.8 Energy Meter

Current Transformer
240V / 208V grid are supported, and it can be congured via APP.
A very powerful tool for monitoring, conguration or diagnosis. APP is connected to
inverter via BLE.
Delta Ex_BDI series can exchange with Delta cloud using gateway (Wi-Fi / Ethernet /
Cellular) which can be installed in the AC wiring box of inverter. Also, gateway can push
data directly to customer’s cloud or third-party cloud.

Meter is used by the inverter to import / export consumption readings, and manage the
battery charge / discharge accordingly for smart energy management applications, for
example self-consumption, zero-export or TOU. Meter reports its electricity measuring
value to inverter via RS485 following Modbus.To meet UL 1741 PCS CRD require-
ments, the meter must be installed.
For the function mode of “Self-Consumption”, “Charge Excess Solar”, “Export Only
Mode” and “Import Only Mode”, the meter is required. For the other function modes, the
meter is optional. For backup only application the meter is not required.
