To protect the charger against damage caused by lightning, a three level protection concept according to
IEC 60364-5-53/A2 is mandatory to limit transients & energy absorption step by step.
The EV Ultra fast charger contains Class II/C surge arrestor: Dehn, model DG M TNS 275
