  If your DENALI AIRE Air Conditioner isn't starting, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the unit is fully plugged into the outlet. * Inspect the house fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if needed. * If there was a recent power failure, the unit will restart with the previous settings after power is restored, but there may be a 3-minute delay to protect the compressor. * Check the current interrupter device: press the RESET button on the power cord plug. If it doesn't stay engaged, stop using the air conditioner and contact a qualified technician.

It is recommended to clean the filter at least every 30 days. * If the room was initially very hot, allow sufficient time for the air conditioner to cool it down. * Check for open furnace registers and cold air returns that may be allowing cold air to escape. * Icing up of the cooling coils can also reduce cooling efficiency.
