IEC Conditions of Certication (general):
• The ambient temperature range is limited to –50°C to +60°C for the Ex db eb
[ib]
IIC T5, Ex db eb IIC T5 version,
and –55°C to +60°C for the Ex db

• Only suitable certified Ex db or Ex eb (as applicable) cable entries and blanking elements are to be used.
• The Model OPECL assemblies are to be installed in places where there is a low risk of mechanical damage.
• The field wiring terminal connections are certified for a single wire in size from 0.2 to 2.5 mm

, (or two conductors

). The screws must be tightened down with a torque 0.4 to 0.5 Nm.
• The metal housing of the Model OPECL Gas Detector must be electrically connected to earth ground
