1.6 Changing power supply
1.6.1 Removing power supply
• Remove cover (see point 1.2)
• Loosen plug connection J3
• Loosen countersunk screws on base of device.
• Remove cable ties from transformer.
• Lift power supply upwards and remove.
1.6.2 Fitting power supply
• Place power supply into device.
• Connect plug connection J3 to the board.
• Attach cable loom to the transformer using cable ties.
• Fix power supply to base of device using countersunk screws.
• Connect push button box to the board.
• Fill chamber with distilled water up to the mark and fit cover.
• Fit nebuliser chamber.
• Switch on device.
• Adjust the device following the setting instructions.
• Remove push button box and housing cover.
• Fit housing cover (see point 1.3)
• Check electrical safety according to VDE 0751 or IEC601-1
• Trial run
1.7 Changing fan
1.7.1 Removing device fan
• Remove cover (see point 1.2)
• Loosen screws on the device fan holder
• Unsolder cable from the board (J13)
• Change fan
1.7.2 Fitting device fan
• Fit fan and fan holder. Ensure flow direction is correct! Air is
drawn out of the power supply. Observe direction of the
arrow on the side of the fan.
• Shorten the cable and solder device fan into J13 (see Fig. 2).
Ensure polarity is correct!
• Connect push button box to the board.
• Fill chamber with distilled water up to the mark and fit cover.
• Fit nebuliser chamber.
• Switch on device.
• Adjust the device following the setting instructions.
• Remove push button box and housing cover.
• Fit housing cover (see point 1.3)
• Check electrical safety according to VDE 0751 or IEC601-1
• Trial run
1.7.3 Removing patient fan
• Remove cover (see point 1.2)
• Loosen the device fan screws underneath the device.
• Unsolder cable from the board (J5)
• Change fan
1.7.4 Fitting patient fan
• Fit fan.
• Shorten the cable and solder device fan into J5 (see Fig. 2).
Ensure polarity is correct!
• Connect push button box to the board.
• Fill chamber with distilled water up to the mark and fit cover.
• Fit nebuliser chamber.
• Switch on device.
• Adjust the device following the setting instructions.
• Remove push button box and housing cover.
• Fit housing cover. (see point 1.3)
• Check electrical safety according to VDE 0751 or IEC601-1
• Trial run.
