Repairs
The charger and batteries are notserviceable. There are no
serviceable parts inside the charger or batterypack.
WARNING: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment (including
brush inspection and replacement, when applicable)
should be performed by a factory service center or
an authorized service center. Always use identical
replacementparts.
Accessories
WARNING: Since accessories, other than those offered
by
DeWALT, have not been tested with this product,
use of such accessories with this product could be
hazardous. To reduce the risk of injury, only DeWALT
recommended accessories should be used with
thisproduct.
Recommended accessories for use with your product are
available at extra cost from your local dealer or authorized

Storage (Fig. R)
• Always completely empty water from the suction hose,
power cleaner, spray wand, nozzles.
• Store in a dry, covered location with above freezing
temperature with the batteries removed. STOREINDOORS.
• Nozzles can be stored in the nozzle storage slots on the
handle grip as shown in Fig.R.
• Spray wand can be stored, broken down, in the
storagebag.
• The suction hose and foamcannon can be stored empty,
in the storage bag.
Suction Hose (Fig. A)

3. To clean the suction hose, use water from a garden hose
to thoroughly rinse out the suction hose and allow it

counterclockwise and remove.
4. Rinse the strainer and all of the parts with clean water
then reassemble and allow it todry.
NOTE: Tighten the quick connect suction hose filter
byhand.
Nozzle (Fig. A, P)
If the nozzle becomes clogged with foreign materials,
such as dirt, excessive pressure may develop. If the nozzle
becomes partially clogged or restricted, the pump pressure
will pulsate. Clean the nozzleimmediately.

4. Run water from a faucet or garden hose through
thenozzle to ensure any debris is removed.
Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with
clean, dry air at least once a week. To minimize the risk
of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved eye
protection when performing thisprocedure.
WARNING:
Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals
for cleaning the non‑metallic parts of the tool. These
chemicals may weaken the plastic materials used in
these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with water and
mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never
immerse any part of the tool into aliquid.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start‑up can causeinjury.
Your
DeWALT power tool has been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regularcleaning.
Shutdown (Fig. A)
1. To stop the power cleaner, release thetriggerand
remove thebattery
.
2. Turn off water at thefaucet.
3. Discharge any residual pressure by squeezing the
trigger

until no more water comes out of the spray
wand

4. Remove garden hose from power cleaner by pulling back
the collar on the quick connect hose adapter and remove
it from the water intake

5. Disconnect and drain the garden hose.
2. To stop the power cleaner, release thetrigger.
NOTE: Excessive pump pressure may be the result of
clogged nozzle. Always turn off the power cleaner and
remove the battery before attempting to unclog a nozzle
WARNING: Never draw from water that contains
chemicals. Only draw from fresh watersources.
