Cleaning/Emptying the Dust Bowl and
Filter (Fig.D, E, J, K)
WARNING: Projectile/Respiratory Hazard: Never use
the vac without itsfilter.
NOTE: The filter is reusable, do not confuse it with a
disposable dust bag, and do not throw it away when the
product is emptied. We recommend that you replace the
filter every 6–9 months depending on frequency ofuse.
Removing Filter
1. Place the vacuum over a trash bin and remove the
dust bowl

from the main housing by pressing the
dust bowl release button

on the handle and remove
the dust bowl by pulling the dust bowl away from the
mainhousing.
2. Remove the filter assembly

by pulling it out of the
dustbowl.
3. Twist counterclockwise and pull the filter cap

seperate it from thefilter

Install Filter
1. Attach the filter cap onto the filter and rotate it clockwise
to lock it firmly intoposition.
2. Push the filter assembly into the dustbowl.
3. Install the dust bowl onto the main housing and lock it
firmly intoposition.
Cleaning
IMPORTANT: Maximum dust collection will only be
obtained with a clean filter and an empty dust bowl. If dust
begins to fall back out of the product after it is switched off,
this indicates that the bowl is full and requiresemptying.
1. Once the filter is removed from the dust bowl, shake off
or lightly brush any dust from thefilter.
2. Empty any dust from the dust bowl

into a trashbin
and wash ifnecessary.
3. Rinse out the dust bowl with warm soapywater. Ensure
that the dust bowl is completely dry beforeusing.
4. Wash the filters regularly using warm, soapy water and
ensure that it is completely dry before using again. The
cleaner the filter is, the better the product will perform.
5. It is very important that the filters are completely dry and
correctly in position beforeuse.
6. Ensure the filters are completely dry for 12hours
beforerefitting.

Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with
clean, dry air at least once a week. To minimize the risk
of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1approved eye
protection when performingthisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh
chemicals for cleaning the non‑metallic parts of the
tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic materials
used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with
water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the
tool; never immerse any part of the tool into aliquid.
Storing the Dust Extractor
WARNING:
a ) Empty the dust collection box before storing the dust
extractor.
b ) Always store your dust extractor with the batteries
removed.
c ) Store the tool and batteries in a place that is as cool
and dry as possible.
d ) Store the tool and batteries in a place that cannot be
accessed by children or unauthorised persons.
e ) Check the tool and batteries for damage after long
periods of storage.
f ) Refer to the Battery Packs, Transportation section of
this manual for further information.

before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start‑up can causeinjury.

Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regularcleaning.
On/Off Switch (Fig. I)
NOTE: This product is for dry pick‑up only.
• To switch the vac on, slide the On/Off switch

forward.
• To switch the vac off, slide the On/Off switch back.
Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
(Fig.H)
NOTE: For best results, make sure your battery pack is
fullycharged.
To install the battery pack

into the tool handle, align the
battery pack with the rails inside the tool’s handle and slide it
into the handle until the battery pack is firmly seated in the
tool and ensure that it does notdisengage.
To remove the battery pack from the tool, press the release
button

and firmly pull the battery pack out of the tool
handle. Insert it into the charger as described in the charger
section of thismanual.
