NOTE:
wait a few moments before removing the pod, being sure never to leave it in place as it
could cause the gasket to break.
ATTENTION:
during coffee dispensing do not bring the lever E to the rest position.
9. Steam dispensing and
cappuccino preparation
NOTE:
before carrying out any operation related to steam dispensing, check that the steam wand
is oriented above the water recovery tank G.
ATTENTION:
danger of burns!
Short splashes of hot water may occur at the start of dispensing.
The dispensing pipe can reach high temperatures: avoid touching it directly with your
hands. The steam wand must not be oriented towards persons or animals.
Make sure there is always enough water in the bottle housed in the water compartment.
The following operations must be carried out in sequence:
1. press switch C (see fig. 5-A) and wait for the indicator light at the steam supply but-
ton D to be off. This indicator ligh signals reaching of the pre-set operating temper-
ature. At this point the machine is ready for steam dispensing;
2. insert an empty container under the steam wand and press button D for a few mo-
ments to let out the residual hot water until only steam comes out;
3. remove the container;
4. immerse the steam wand in a full cup/container for approximately 2/3 of the liquid
to be heated (e.g. milk);
5. hold down the steam dispensing button D (see fig. 5-A), slowly moving the cup/con-
tainer downwards to obtain a compact and creamy milk foam, until finally reaching
the desired temperature;
