6. release button D and remove the cup/container;
7. after this operation clean the steam wand with a damp cloth.
NOTE:
it is advisable to use fresh whole milk and at refrigerator temperature in the desired quan-
tity to obtain a compact cream.
NOTE:
it is advisable to empty and rinse the collection tray daily. It is absolutely forbidden to use
solvents, alcohol or aggressive substances or ovens for drying of the machine components.
Wash the components (excluding electrical) with cold/lukewarm water and non-abrasive
cloths/sponges.
FOR A PERFECT CAPPUCCINO
Preferably use whole fresh milk, in a medium-sized cup, filled to half its capacity. Dispense
steam by inserting a small part of the steam wand into the milk. During dispensing, contin-
uously and quickly dip the steam wand terminal in and out of the top surface of the milk.
When the milk is whipped, dispense a coffee into the same cup.
10. Cleaning
ATTENTION:
• maintenance and cleaning can only be carried out when the machine is cold and
disconnected from the mains;
• do not immerse the machine in water;
• do not use sharp objects or harsh chemicals (solvents) for cleaning;
• do not dry the machine and/or its components using a microwave and/or conven-
tional oven;
• use a soft cloth dampened with water to clean the appliance.
To clean the pod holder (see fig. 5-A) is necessary to unscrew the nut located under the
spout, lift the lever and remove it. Then unhook the shower filter from the plastic part and
