11.4 Cleaning the print head
Clean the print head and the rubber roller at least every three months. Clean both items
more frequently in case of intensive use of the printer in order to ensure consistent print
quality.
Open the printer cover and remove the paper roll; the rubber roller and the print head
mechanism are now visible.
Allow the print head to cool before cleaning.
Clean the print head and rubber roller using a soft, lint-free cloth dampened in pure isopropyl
alcohol (e.g. ISOPADS, which can be ordered from Diebold Nixdorf, replacement part
number 01750104065).
