Start of Engine
Keep all personnel away from working zone.
Sound the horn to alert the personnel around machine.
Important: Do not run the starter motor continuously for >15s. If the engine fails to start, wait for
60s and then attempt to restart the engine.
Important: If the engine stops due to shortage of fuel, please add fuel, rotate the key to ON for
60s, and then rotate it to START position. Running the starter motor for a long time before the
supply of sufficient fuel will cause start failure of starter motor.
Normal Start
Pull the accelerator joystick to neutral position.
Rotate the starter key to START position to start the
engine.
After the engine is started, release the key.
The key will automatically return to ON position.
Check and ensure that all warning lamps are already
off.
Return the accelerator joystick and warm up the
engine.

Start in Cold Weather
Never use starting fluid on this engine, as the starting fluid may explode.
Pull the accelerator joystick to neutral position.
Check and ensure that all warning lamps are already off.
Return the accelerator joystick and warm up the engine
Important: Before the completion of warm-up. Avoid the full speed running of engine. Do not
warm up the engine for a long time (20min or
longer). When the idling is required, occasionally
apply the load or run the engine at medium
speed.
Rotate the starter key counterclockwise to
PREHEATER position for approximately 10s. The
preheater indicator lamp turns on to indicate the
running of preheater.
Rotate the key to ON, wait for the instrument
lamp to turn off and the buzzer to stop sounding,
