Take a pair of tweezers and heat both sides of the IC in quick succession with the soldering iron until it can be easily
removed.
One may remove the capacitors as show, but it is not necessary. Clean all with desoldering wire and alcohol .
Cut conductor track at red line.
Make a solder bridge as shown (U2 Pins 5,6,7) and connect a wire form there to R2 (CuL).
Turn board around.
Unsolder the Transistor on the backside.
