If the Dimplex Stove flame effect isn't starting, first ensure the mains plug is correctly plugged into the wall socket. Also, check that the water tank is full, and there's water in the sump. Verify that the low voltage connector is properly connected. Finally, make sure the Transducer Unit is correctly seated in the molded recess within the sump.

Why is the flame effect too low on my Dimplex Noir RTOPSTV20GN?
    • R
      Randy HensleyAug 7, 2025
If the flame effect on your Dimplex Stove is too low, try these steps: First, increase the flame level by slowly turning the control knob ‘D’ to the left. If that doesn't work, the metal disc in the transducer might be dirty; clean it with the soft brush provided. Also, ensure the wire from the Transducer Unit isn't sitting over the metal disc; direct it to the back of the sump, making sure it sits in the side slot as it exits the sump.
