ALWAYS secure the child restraint when it is unoccupied
using the vehicle lap/shoulder belt or LATCH/UAS
connectors. It could injure other occupants in a sudden
stop or collision.
1. Remove the 5-Point harness (see pg 82).
2. Place child in car seat with their back at against the
back of the seat. The entire seat bottom should sit as at
as possible on the vehicle seat. If overhang is present
refer to page 62.
3. Adjust head support to
proper height. The bottom
of the headrest should be
even with the child’s jaw.
Squeeze the head support
adjustment lever on the
back of the booster seat
to adjust it’s height up or
down to t the child.
