CONNECT YOUR OTA ANTENNA TO YOUR TV
Turn your TV on, and take note of
the channel or input that it is on.
Connect your antenna to your TV’s
Antenna In/Air/Cable port.
• If your TV requires a conversion
box, connect your antenna to
the conversion box, and then
connect the box to the TV.
Using the buttons on your TV, or
your TV remote, press the Menu/
Settings,/Home button.
Select Channel/Setup/Auto Tuning/
Installation/System.
• If you are prompted to select Air
or Cable, select Air.
Select Scan Channels/Program
Channels/Autoscan/Autoprogram.
Select Start/Enter/OK to start scanning
and adding channels to your TV’s
channel lineup. Select OK/Done to
complete your scan.
CONNECT YOUR OTA ANTENNA TO YOUR RECEIVER
Attach the coax cable from your
OTA antenna to the coax port on
your OTA adapter.
Connect the USB end of your OTA
adapter to the USB port on your DISH
receiver.
Turn your television and receiver
on. Then, open the Menu for your
receiver.
Select “System Setup” on your screen,
and then select “Local Channels.”
Select “Scan Channels.”
• This scan could take up to
five minutes to complete.
When it is complete, you
will see a list of the OTA
channels that your antenna
found.
When the popup appears, select “OK”
and then select “Done.”

Connect OTA Antenna to Receiver

Attach Coax Cable to Adapter

Connect the coax cable from your OTA antenna to the OTA adapter's coax port.

Connect USB Adapter to Receiver

Connect the USB end of your OTA adapter to the USB port on your DISH receiver.

Power On and Access Receiver Menu

Turn on your television and receiver, then open the receiver's Menu.

Navigate to Local Channels Setup

Select 'System Setup' then 'Local Channels' on your screen.

Initiate Channel Scan

Select 'Scan Channels.' The scan may take up to five minutes.

Confirm Channel Scan Results

When the popup appears, select 'OK' and then 'Done'.

Connect OTA Antenna to TV

Power On TV and Note Input

Turn on your TV and note the current channel or input it is on.

Connect Antenna to TV Port

Connect your antenna to your TV's Antenna In/Air/Cable port.

Access TV Menu/Settings

Using your TV remote, press the Menu/Settings/Home button.

Select Tuning Options

Select Channel/Setup/Auto Tuning/Installation/System. Choose 'Air' if prompted.

Start Channel Scanning

Select Scan Channels/Program Channels/Autoscan/Autoprogram.

Complete Channel Scan

Select Start/Enter/OK to scan and add channels. Select OK/Done to finish.
