Operating Tips
• Choose the correct plow blade for the type of material being installed. Consider bend radius and
diameter of material being installed as well as depth of installation.
• If material must be at a constant depth, dig starting and target trenches.
• Hand feed material through feed tube when raising and lowering the plow to prevent excess bending of
material.
• Check material for damage during plowing. Run continuity checks on electric cable and check pipe
pressure. Damage can result from improper operation, incorrect blade choice, striking underground
obstructions, or other conditions.
• Use optional sod cutter when plowing in areas with heavy grass cover or surface clutter.
• Do not plow with overtravel bumpers in
contact with trolley (shown) for more than a
few minutes. Use the plow position indicator
and alignment marks to keep the plow
centered in the trolley.
