1. Fasten and adjust seat belt.
2. Start tractor. See page 50 for start-up procedures.
3. Drive to starting point. Move in line with planned trench. See page 52 for operating procedures.
4. Engage parking brake.
5. Lower boom to just above ground.
6. Check that attachment speed is in the LOW position.
7. Check that boom is in line with planned trench.
EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN - Turn ignition switch to STOP.
Crushing weight could cause death or serious injury. Use proper
procedures and equipment or stay away.
NOTICE: Use attachments or counterweights to make front and rear loads balance when all
attachments are raised. Contact your Ditch Witch dealer about counterweights for your equipment.
Jobsite hazards could cause death or serious injury. Use
correct equipment and work methods. Use and maintain proper safety
equipment.
