COLD START
First follow the steps in CONTROLS for “Ignition Switch.” If
engine still will not start in cold weather, follow these steps:
1. Insert key and turn clockwise to first position. Glow plug
indicator will light.
2. When indicator light turns off, turn key all the way clockwise.
3. If engine does not start, turn key to off position. Wait 5 to 30
seconds.
4. Repeat steps 1-3.
IMPORTANT: Glow plug indicator light will turn off after
approximately 6 seconds. Do not hold key in first position after
light turns off.
5. Turn key all the way clockwise.
6. Release when engine starts. Key will return to on position.
COLD START
