50 Hour
Check Belt Tension
Check belt tension every 50 hours. See engine
manual for tension specifications. If belt is loose,
loosen alternator bolts (1) and adjust alternator.
Retighten bolts.
Check Nose Counterweight Bolts
Check tightness of nose weight bolts every 50
hours. Check for looseness or wear. Use the
numbered sequence shown to tighten bolts to 350
ft•lb (475 N•m).
Trencher
Check Chain Guide
Check chain guide (shown) for wear every 50
hours. Replace as needed.
