• Pull the height adjustment lever and slowly
lift the guide pillar until it is in the upright
position.
• The foot pedal must latch into place (tool
up).
• Pull the height adjustment lever on the
machine handle and slowly lower the guide
pillar to a comfortable working position.
• Lower the tool by unlocking the foot pedal
(tool down).
• Press the height adjustment lever and
swivel the guide pillar forwards until it lies
against the engine cover.
• The foot pedal must latch into place (tool
up).
• Bring the machine into the transport
position.
• Lie the machine on its back by holding it
with your foot at the rear.
