Lifting the machine

Remove/change the dust bag

Cleaning the machine
Transport over stairs should generally be carried out by two
persons.
Switch the machine off.
Disconnect the power supply cord from the mains socket.
Caution:
Due to the weight of the machine, there are risks involved in such
transportation!
Tripping could result in injury to an individual or damage to the
machine.
Bring the machine into the transport position by
pressing the height adjustment lever and
swivelling the guide pillar forward until it lies in
the engine cover.
Option A: To lift the machine, hold the machine by the handle while a
second person holds the back of the housing.
Option B: To lift the machine, both persons should hold the machine by
the handle and the back of the housing.
Release the operation levers.
To raise the pads, press the foot pedal down
until it locks into place.
Switch the machine on by pressing the main
(ON/OFF) switch.
Pull the power supply cord out of the mains socket.
Bring the machine into the pad-change position.
Remove the pad fixation (1) and the pad (2).

Replace the pad fixation on the pad drive.
Bring the machine into the parking position.
Clean the power supply cord with a damp cloth and wrap it around the
machine handle and the cord hook.
Remove the cover from the dust bag
compartment.
Remove the full dust bag.
Insert a new dust bag.
Clean the dust bag compartment using a damp cloth.
Close off the dust bag compartment again with
the cover.
Vacuum up the dust off the pad.
Caution:
Do not tumble dry the pads!
Caution:
Never clean the machine with high water pressure or a water
hose.
The ingress of water into the machine might cause considerable
damage to mechanical or electrical parts.
Wipe down the machine with a damp cloth.
