4.2.3 ENERGY METERS AND THIRD PARTY INSTRUMENT CONFIGURATION
For non-Dixell instruments it will be necessary to configure the serial to work with baudrate 9600bps, 8bit, No
Parity and 1 Stop bit (aka “9600,8,N,1). The use of another serial configuration may not be recognised by
XWEB-EVO and this would lead to incorrect device operation.
To enter non-Dixell instruments, which are nonetheless required by the system, (for example the Carlo
Gavazzi Energy Analyser), do the following:
a. Enter “MenuDevices Setup” and choose any instrument. To enter Energy Analyzer “WM22-DIN-
AV5”, select “ENERG.ANAL”
b. Press “Add/Remove Device(s)”. And, from the list, select the library for the device.
c. Drag’n’Drop on ‘Add Device(s)’ and fill in the required information on the screen
