Safety at a Glance
1. Environmental Considerations
Always y at locations that are clear of buildings and other
obstacles.
•  DO NOT y above or near large crowds.
Avoid ying at altitudes above 400 feet (120 m).
Be very careful when ying 8,202 feet (2,500 m) or more above
sea level.
Fly in moderate weather conditions with temperatures between
14° and 104° F (-10° and 40° C).
2. Pre-ight Checklist
Remote controller and aircraft batteries are fully charged.
Propellers and frame arms are unfolded.
Propellers are in good condition and securely tightened.
All parts are mounted securely, cables are connected correctly and rmly.
There is nothing obstructing the motors.
Be sure to calibrate the compass at every new ight location or if you receive a software prompt.
3. Operation
Stay away from the rotating propellers and motors.
Maintain a line of sight to your aircraft at all times.
•  NEVER stop the motors mid-ight.
DO NOT answer incoming calls during ight.
DO NOT y under the inuence of alcohols or drugs.
During the Return-to-Home procedure, you can adjust the altitude to avoid obstacles.
DO NOT y closely above reective surfaces such as water or snow, as these terrain may affect the
performance of the Vision Positioning System (for aircrafts using the Vision Positioning System only).
In the instance of a Low Battery Warning, land the aircraft at a safe location.
Always keep both hands on the remote controller while the motor is spinning. Power off the aircraft
before turning off the remote controller after landing.
4. Maintenance and Upkeep
DO NOT use aged, chipped or broken propellers.
Recommended storage temperature: between 71° and 82° F (22° and 28° C).

5. Observe Local Laws and Regulations
DO NOT y inside the No Fly Zones. You can nd a detailed list of these areas at http://ysafe.dji.com/ 
The DJI No Fly Zone is not a replacement for local government regulations or good judgment.
•  Avoid ying in areas where rescue teams are actively using the airspace.
