This document is the Owner's Manual for the DKN H2Oar Rowing Machine, a high-quality, safe, and innovative piece of exercise equipment designed for indoor, home use. The manual provides essential information for assembly, operation, safety, maintenance, and exercise guidance.
Function Description
The DKN H2Oar Rowing Machine is designed to provide a full-body cardio-vascular workout. It simulates the action of rowing on water, offering a comprehensive exercise experience. The machine features a water tank system where the amount of water simulates the mass of an object being moved in water. Increasing the water level simulates a heavier load, while reducing it simulates a lighter load. The resistance is primarily altered by the user's rowing speed. The console provides real-time feedback on various workout metrics, helping users track their progress and achieve fitness goals.
Important Technical Specifications

- Length: 212.5 cm (83.6")
- Width: 51.5 cm (20.3")
- Height: 93 cm (36.6")
- Weight: 37.5 kg (83 lbs)
- Maximum User Weight: 150 kg (331 lbs)
- Safety Standards: EN/ISO 20957 Class HC
- Console Power: 2 AAA 1.5V batteries (not included)
- Heart Rate Monitoring: Requires an optional 5.3KHz Chestbelt (REF 20073) for accurate heart rate display. Heart rate monitoring systems may be inaccurate, and over-exercising can lead to serious injury or death.
- Water Tank Capacity: Maximum fill level is 6. Users are advised not to fill above this level.

- ENTER: Confirms program selection or parameter settings.
- START/STOP: Starts, pauses, or stops a training session.
- UP/DOWN Arrows: Used to set values for time, calories, count, and distance, and for program selection.
- Water Level Adjustment: The water level (L1-6) can be set using the console arrows, affecting the simulated mass moved during rowing.
- Storage: The rowing machine can be stored vertically to save space. The manual illustrates how to fold and move the rower.
- Floor Levellers: The machine is equipped with floor levellers to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.
- Pedal Straps: Adjustable straps on the pedals secure the user's feet during exercise.
Maintenance Features
- Regular Examination: The machine's safety level can only be maintained through regular examination for damage and wear, especially components like the pull cord, pedals, seat rail, and connection points.
- Component Replacement: Stop using the machine immediately if defective components are found, and keep it out of use until components are replaced or repaired by a qualified engineer. Only use original spare parts; using 3rd party parts will invalidate the warranty.
- Cleaning: DO NOT use aggressive cleaning products. Remove sweat drops immediately after training.
- Water Tank Maintenance: Periodic maintenance of the water in the tank is required. Use provided water purification tablets every 6 months to prevent bacteria and algae growth. If water discoloration occurs, add a tablet immediately. If the water does not clear, empty, flush with clean water, refill, and add a purification tablet.
