Read manual, no unsupervised children, check screws. Loctite 242 Blue recommended.
Mount in vibration-absorbing environment; avoid hard bench mounting for break-in.
Stand clear of propeller, never be in front, wear protective eyewear, avoid loose clothing.
Initial settings are average; adjust for location/altitude. Use starting points for needles.
Adjust for smooth idle and transition. Lean causes stalling; rich causes stumbling.
Adjust for max RPM, then open 1/8 turn. Lean causes slowdowns at full throttle.
Avoid overly rich mixture. Check spark plug for slight yellow color after break-in.
Use 92/95 octane non-ethanol fuel with 30:1 oil ratio for break-in and general use.
Start, adjust idle, warm up, gradual RPM increase, avoid full throttle first tank.
Avoid excessive low RPM to prevent carbon buildup on spark plug.
One year parts/labor warranty. Exclusions: no oil, wrong prop, overheating, inadequate cooling.
