operation

tyre irons,

te their

liquid
soap;

ess
ively movi
ng
the
tyre
iron

around
an
d
pressing
down
the
tyrc
beads
into
the
rim
recess
on
the
diam
etrica
ll
y
opposite
s i
de,
gradually
remove
the
entire
bead
of the
tyre.
When
separa
tin
g
the
lyre
bead
from
the
rim,
take
care
n
ot
to
pinch
the
tube
with
tyre
irons.
Avoid us
ing
too
great
an
effo
rt
as
lhis
ma
y
break
the
tyre
be
ad
wire. Also,
take
care
to en
su
re
that
the
lyre
bead
which
has
not
yet
been
removed
on
the
diametrically
opp
osite
side,
rests
in
th
e
*
middl
e
recess
of
the
im
and
the
inn
er
tube
docs
n
ot
interfere
with
this
position
of lhe
bead
(tha
t
the
tube
is
not

ed)

tyre

the

To
comp
letely
remove
the
tyre
from
the
wheel
rim,
proceed
as
fo

iron

bead
that
has
not
yet
been
removed,
lever
it off
the
oppo-
site
bead
of the
rim
with
the

nd
of
the
tyre
iron

lyre
bead
outwards

doing
so, a l
so
see
that
the
tyre
bead
not
removed
on
the
diametrically
opposite
side
rests
in
th
e rim r
ecess)
.
Moving
the
tyre
irons
around,
remove
all the tyre from
the
rim.
Aft
er
dismantling,
examine
the
tyre
and
tube,
ch
eck
them for
the
absence
of
punctures
and
other
si
gns
of
damage,
make
su
re
that
the
inner
s
urface
of
the
lyre is free of
sha
rp
object
s
that
may
st
ick
lo it.
Wh
enever
necessar
y, re
pair
the tyrc
or
tube
or
replace
them.
Re-fit
the
lyre
and
tube
in
the
fo
llowing
order:
powder
the
inner
s
urf
ace
of
the
tyre
with
talcum;
fit
the
rim
band,
ens
urin
g
that
the
hole
made
in the
band
for
the
va lve is
matched
with
the
hole
in
the
· rim.
See
that
the
rim
band
co
mplet
ely
covers
all
the
heads
of the
nippl
es
and
the s pok
es
do
not
sl
ick
oul
of the
nippl
e
heads;
pu
sh a
part
of
the
lyr
e
bead
into
the
rim
recess
and
fit
th
e
ent
ire
bead
of
tyre
by
means
of
tyre
irons;
in
sert
the
tube
va lve
into
the
rim
hole
,
screw
a
fastening
n u
.t
onto
the
removable
val
ve
by
two
or
three
thre
ads;
in
sert
the
valve
core
into
the
lube
valve,
s
lightly
pu
mp
up
the
tube
a
nd
pu
sh it
into
the
tyre.
Care
must
be
tak
en
to
avoid
creasing
of
the
tube;
fit
the
other
bead
of
the
tyre,
starting
wo
rkin
g from
the
side
opposite
to
the
valv
e.
In
doing
thi
s,
see
that
th
e
fitted
part
of
the
IJea
d
enters
the
rim
re
cess
.
As
a
rul
e,
about
2
/
3
of
the
bead
is
fitted
manu
all y,
th
e
remaining
pa
rt
being
fitted by
means
of
tyre
ir
ons.
When
us
ing
tyre
irons,
lak
e
care
to
prevent
pinching
and,
conse
-
quentl
y,
damage
to
th
e
tube.
To facili
tate
the
re-fitting
operation,
th
e
tyre
bead
may
be
slightly
lubricated
with
liquid
soap.
When
re-
fitting
the
lyre
bead,
avoid
app
l
ying
too
great
an
effort
as
this
may
break
the
bead
wire.
