Do notuse vinegarfor descaling! Avoidcontactof descalingliquid with any
partof the machine.
Do notpush ON / OFF icon during descaling
cycle.

Ifthe beverage comes outslower thanusual (evenin
droplets), orif it is cooler than usual or ifthe powerbutton is
steadyorange (descaling signal), the machine has to be
descaled.

Switchoff machine. Ifany, remove waterfrom watertank.

Mix 0.5literfresh drinkingwater with descalerin a meas-
uring cup. Pourdescaling solutioninto watertank and insert
watertank into machine.

Removedrip grid and drip tray. Put rinsing toolinto capsule
holder. Insert capsule holder into machine. Place an empty
large containerunderneath the coffeeoutlet.

Press and hold ON/ OFF iconfor atleast 5 seconds. ON/
OFF starts blinking alternatelygreen/ orange and machine
enters descaling mode.

Touchhotwatericon. Bar display lights vanish pro-
gressively. Machine descalesin start-stop operation for
approximately2 minutes. Wait until extraction stops.
8. DESCALING AT LEAST EVERY 3-4 MONTHS
