8 Before initial use

Before you switch on the roof air conditioner, observe the following:
Check whether the supply voltage and frequency correspond to the values spec-
ified in the technical data, see page 16.
Ensure both the air intake opening and the air nozzles are free. All ventilation
grilles must always be kept free to ensure that the roof air conditioner is able to
operate at maximum capacity.
9 Operating the roof air conditioner
9.1 Basic notes on operation
The roof air conditioner has four operating modes:
9.2 Selecting the air conditioning mode
Cooling
Set the thermostat at the desired temperature level.
Set the adjusting knob at the desired cooling level.
Heating
Set the thermostat at the desired temperature level.
Set the adjusting knob at the desired heating level.
CAUTION!
Do not insert your fingers or objects into the air nozzles or the intake
grille.
Operating mode Features
OFF The roof air conditioner is switched off.
Heating The roof air conditioner heats the air in the interior.
Cooling The roof air conditioner cools the air in the interior.
Fan The fan moves the air in the interior without cooling or heating.
