Installing water pipes
Note the following before and during installation of the water pipes:
• The vent valve and pipe fittings must be free of contamination.
• The arrow on the vent valve body must point in the direction of the water flow.
• The screw connections of the vent valve and piping must be tight.
• The installation must be free of tension and torque.
• Protect the vent valve and pipe fittings from dust and dirt on construction sites.
• Use expansion joints to compensate for thermal expansion of the piping.
Assembling the pipes
Both plastic and copper pipes can be used for the water connection.
The diameter size of the fan coil pipes depends on the number of fan coils connected and the marine vehicle. The
more fan coils are connected together, the more different pipe diameter sizes are needed. Each additional fan coil
requires smaller pipes than the previously connected fan coil.
