  If the system shuts down when trying to load a new configuration using a Garmin card reader with an SD card, it could be because the Garmin MFD is powered from the Dometic Switch and is powering off when receiving the prompt to load a new configuration. To prevent this: 1. Place the Dometic Switch output fuse for the MFD into "Bypass Mode" to give continuous power to the MFD during the update. 2. It is recommended that a correction to the DCM configuration is made using the SeaStar DCM configuration tool so the particular output does not power off during future configuration uploads.
