3.1.18. Cooling water pump
z
Remove the water pipe connected to the
expansion tank.
z
Remove the water pipe and hoses connected to
the water pump.
z
Unscrew the water pump fixing bolts and
remove the water pump.
3.1.19. Air compressor
z
Remove the oil hoses, water pipe, air pipe
connected to the air compressor.
z
Remove the air compressor fixing bolts, then
disassemble the air compressor from the timing
gear case.
3.1.20. Fuel injection pump
z
Remove the oil supply pipe and return pipe
connected to the fuel injection pump.
z
Unscrew the bolts connecting the coupling and
drive shaft, loosen the injection pump attaching
bolts, then disassemble the injection pump.
NOTE :
Place the No.1 cylinder in ‘OT’ in exact position
to disassemble the injection pump.
z
Release the pump fixing bracket bolts to
disassemble the bracket from the cylinder
block.
NOTE :
Do not interchange the shims as they must be
installed in their original positions at reassembly
.
