4.9. Tightening the Cylinder Head Bolts.
z Coat the engine oil on the cylinder
head bolt, assemble with specified
torque according to the order of the
assembling.
< Cylinder head bolts >
< Cylinder head bolt’s tightening order >
(1) First step : Coat the bolts with engine oil.
(2) Second step : Screw down 1 ~ 2 threads by hands.
(3) Third step : Tighten with about 5 kg•m by wrench.
(4) Fourth step : Tighten with rotating 90° by torque wrench.
(5) Fifth step : Tighten with rotating 90° by torque wrench.
(6) Sixth step : Finally, tighten with rotating angle method 90° by torque wrench
.
