2.3.14. Oil filter & cooler
z The oil cooler is composed of flat tubes
and cooled down by cooling water
.
z Check oil pressure and oil leak, and
repair or replace the oil filter, if
necessary.
z Replace the oil filter cartridge each
time you replace engine oil.
2.3.15. Fan belt
z Use the best quality fan belt. Replace
with new one if the fan belt is damaged
or worn-out.
z Check belt tension to see if the tension
value is appropriate.
- Adjust the tension of poly belt
when pressed down with
specified force (F kg@picture) :
(T) = 0.015 x S
(Deflection : 1.5 mm per 100 mm)
2.3.16. Air cleaner
z Replace the air filter element, if it is
deformed, damaged, or cracked. (Use
the best quality element.)
z The element should be cleaned and
replaced at regular intervals.
