Decision of Installation Position in the Carrier Assembly
Insert the carrier assembly in hub (1) and correctly arrange the
teeth of gears of cluster gear (6)B and ring gear (B)(5) in the
following way.
• Arrange place indication marks of 3 cluster gears (6)
to the place shown in the figure above.
• At that place fix the sun gear (A) prior installation tool
that it can be arranged with cluster gear (6).
• Install the carrier assembly in (hub) in this state.
Then, the sun gear (A) prior installation tool will fall
out.
14. Assembly of Ring Gear (A)(4)
A. Install ring gear (A)(4) in hub (1). Make sure that
teeth of ring gear (A) and cluster gear A teeth are
correctly arranged.
B. Hold hub (1) and arrange it to the simultaneous
machining mark of ring gear (A) and the hub.
NOTE: Degrease the connection areas of hub (1) and
ring gear (A)(4)completely and apply a thin
coating of herme seal (NO.SS60F).
