The Answering Machine
Switching the Answering Machine On/Off
To switch the answering machine on and off press and release

In the ON position the machine will answer all incoming calls.
In the OFF position no calls will be answered.
IMPORTANT!
If the

indicator is off, the answering machine is also off.
Day/Time Stamp
The answering machine has a voice function that announces the day and time when
each incoming message (ICM) was recorded.
Setting Day/Time Stamp
1. Press and hold until you hear a long beep.
2. Press and release repeatedly until the correct day of the week is announced.
3. Press and release

4. Press and release repeatedly until the correct hour is announced.
5. Press and release

6. Press and release repeatedly until the correct minute/s is announced.
7. Press and release

8. Press until the voice tells the correct setting, AM or PM.
9. Press

Number of Rings
The number of rings before the machine answers an incoming call can be selected
using the switch marked
on the underside of the telephone.
2 = calls are answered after two rings.
6 = calls are answered after six rings.
TS (TOLL SAVER) – activates the toll save function.
With Toll Saver selected, calls will be answered after six rings until a new ICM
message has been recorded, any subsequent calls will be answered after two rings.
Once these ICM’s have been erased this cycle will be repeated.
This is useful when remote accessing your unit, if there is no answer after four
rings no ICM messages have been recorded, you can therefore terminate the call
before you are charged.
