Doro 5516 - Connectivity; Bluetooth

If you insert a compatible external memory (micro SD) card into your Doro
5516, you can change the default storage location, see Storage, p.28.
This allows you to save more files on your device, like pictures and videos.

CAUTION
When you are not using Bluetooth connectivity, select Function on/off
Off or select Visibility Off. Do not pair with an unknown device.
Activate Bluetooth
1. Press Menu
Settings Connectivity Bluetooth
Activation.
2. Select On to enable, or Off to disable.
3. Press OK to confirm.
Bluetooth settings
1. Press Menu Settings Connectivity Bluetooth:
• Visibility to select On to make your device visible to other devi-
ces, or Off to be invisible.
Note! To prevent other devices from finding your device, select
Off. Even if you select Off, paired devices can still detect your
device.
• Device name to enter the name your Doro 5516 should appear
with for other Bluetooth devices.
• Search device to select a device from the list and press Bond to
connect.
If Bluetooth is not enabled, press Yes to activate. When con-
necting to another Bluetooth device you need a shared pass-
word. Enter the password and press OK.
• My devices to select a device from the list and press Options:
• Connect/Disconnect to connect/disconnect with the se-
lected device. This may require a profile, usually a headset.
• Rename to change the name of the device.
• Delete to delete the device from the list.
