When activated, you no longer have an Overview button on the bottom of
your screen.
• Swipe up on to enter the multitasking view.
• Swipe left and right to scroll the list of open apps and tap to se-
lect an app.
• Swipe up to remove apps from the list.
• Tap the app icon at the top for more options like Split screen
view. When the first app is selected, then select the other app to
split the screen with.
Apps in this view are "live" — you can select, copy and paste text
while in the multitasking view.
• Swipe right on and hold to scroll between apps – release to open
the centre app.
• Swipe right on quickly and release to just switch to the previous
app – the same as a double tap on overview button if gestures are
deactivated.
Double tap to wake
Activate this to tap the screen twice to wake up device.
Prevent ringing
Select what the phone will do when it rings and you press shortcut to pre-
vent ringing, Power & Volume Up together.
• Vibrate, to silence the ringing and just vibrate.
• Mute, to silence the ringing completely.
• Do nothing, to deactivate the shortcut to prevent ringing.
Doro shortcuts panel
Activate this to display in the command bar. opens a panel which
contains several shortcuts to ease your phone use.
Soft keys
Android smart phones like your Doro 8080, as well as most Android appli-
cations, feature common icons. Many icons that you see on-screen are ac-
tually buttons on the touchscreen. If you don’t see the text, images or
information that you want, try to touch the screen or to tap an icon for a
pick list or to reach another menu.
