SMS settings
1. Press Menu, scroll to Messaging and press OK.
2. Select Settings and press OK.
3. Select Text message and press OK.
4. Select one of the following menu points and press

SIM
SMSC address - This number is required to use
the SMS function. The number of your SMS center
is provided by your network provider and is nor-
mally preassigned to the SIM card. When the
number of your SMS center is stored on the SIM
card, it will be displayed. If not, you can enter the
number yourself. You can get additional informa-
tion from your provider.
Validity period - Select the desired validity period
using the * and # buttons. In the settings, you
define how long the attempt to send an SMS to the
recipient should be.
Message type - The SMS can be send as a text,
fax group 3, page or email. Select the type using
the * and # buttons. These options are depen-
