If your Dover Winch isn't pulling its load, several factors could be at play. First, the relief valve might be set too low; try increasing the relief valve setting to reach the recommended pressure. Another cause could be a particle of dirt lodged under the relief valve, especially if the issue arose suddenly after working at maximum pull. In this case, remove, disassemble, and clean the relief valve parts in a suitable solvent before reassembling and reinstalling it, then reset the pressure.
