4. Blow evenly and without interruptions into the mouthpiece.
A progress bar is displayed. An adequate breath flow is indicated
by a continuous tone.
With an adequate breath sample, the green LED goes out and the
continuous tone is muted.
The test result is displayed with date and time after 5 to 25 seconds
(depending on the instrument temperature and the measured
concentration).
To perform another measurement:
To prepare a new measurement, press the button.
During the recovery time of the sensor (see "Technical data" on
page 25) is READY displayed.
4.4 Performing a manual breath sample (optional)
If the test subject cannot provide the required minimum volume,
the sampling can be triggered manually.
1. Preparation as for the automatic breath sample (see chapter 4.3
on page 18).
2. If the progress bar is displayed after beginning the breath sample,
tap the button.
In the results display, MANUAL is also displayed.
