7 Maintenance
7.1 Maintenance intervals
As necessary:
Replace the batteries, see sectio
n 3.2.1 on page 7.
Every six months:
Check calibration, see section 7.4 on pag
e 15.
7.2 Cleaning
Wipe the device to be cleaned with a disposable cloth.
Do not use detergents that contain alcohol or solvents.
7.3 Storage
Do not store the device in environments which contain alcohol.
The device consumes power, also when switched off. Therefore,
remove the battery for extended disuse.
7.4 Calibration
Only by authorised persons.
Calibration recommended every 6 months.
The last calibration date entered can be viewed under menu item
Last cal. date.
8 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable rules and
regulations.

Damage to the device! Do not immerse the device in liquids
and make sure liquids do not penetrate the connectors.

For long term storage (longer than 6 months), remove the
batteries or rechargeable batteries from the device. This will
prevent damage due to leaking battery acid.

According to the 2002/96/EC directive, the product must not
be disposed of as municipal waste. It is therefore labelled with
the symbol depicted here.
The product can be returned to Dräger free of charge.

rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of as
municipal waste. They are, therefore, marked with the adjoining
symbol. Collect and dispose of batteries and rechargeable
batteries at battery collection centres, in accordance with
applicable regulations.
