Rechargingthebattery
1.Removethebatteryfromtheunit.
(1)Openthecassettecoverontheunit.
*Toremovethebatteryfromtheunit,
(2)placeyourrighthandonthesideofthebattery,andwhilepushingtheleveronthefrontfaceof
thebatterydownward,
(3)slidethebatteryinthediagonallyupward(directionisindicatedwithanarrow)toremove.
2.Insertthepowerplugofthebatterychargerintothe120Vpoweroutlet.Thechargingindicationgreen
lampflashes.
3.Pushthebatterytotheendalongtheinsertguideofthecharger.Whenthebatteryisinserted,the
chargercoveropensandcloses.Whenthebatteryisinserted,thechargingindicationredlampturns
on,theconfirmationtone,andchargingcompletionmelodyissetwillsoundforashortperiodoftime,
aschargingstarts.
4.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,thegreenlampturnsonandthechargingcompletionmelodyand
theelectricbuzzersound.Ifthebatteryiskeptinthecharger,tricklechargeisconductedfor24hours
whilecoolingdownthebattery.Chargingtimevariesdependingontheambienttemperature(10℃ to
40℃)andthebatterycondition(new,storedforlongtime,orclosetothelifeofbattery).Ifthebattery
isnotusedrightaftercharging,werecommendkeepingthebatteryinsertedinthechargertocool
downthebattery.
5.Removethe battery from thecharger, and pullout the powerplug of thecharger from thepower
outlet.
6.Insertthebatterytotheend.
(1)Insertthebatterytotheendalongthegrooveontheunit.Iftheredsectionattheupperleveris
visible,thebatteryisnolocked.Pushthebatterytotheendsothattheredsectionisnolonger
visible.
(2)Closethecassettecoverfirmly.
