8. ASSEMBLING THE CULTIVATOR/TILLER
8.2 FITTING THE WHEEL BRACKET
ASSEMBLY AND TRANSPORT
WHEELS – FIGS. 5 – 8
Place the wheel bracket assembly on the
underside of the tine guard .
Make sure the square shoulder of the fixing
boltsare pushed through the slotted holes
in the wheel bracket.
– Place a washer over the threaded end of
the bolt.
– Screw a plastic handle/adjuster onto the
bolt, taking care not to overtighten.
Working from either end of the wheel axle ,
place a washer over the end of the wheel
axle.
– Place a wheel onto the axle.
Thread a second washer over the end of the
axle.
– Fit a split pin  through the hole at the end
of the wheel axle
Using a pair of pliers, bend the ends of the split
pin to secure the wheel in place.
– Repeat the above steps for the second wheel.
