Installation Step 1: U-Channel Alignment

Vertical U-Channel Adjustment

Verify walls and threshold level for up to 1/2" out-of-plumb adjustment.

Installation Step 2: Glass Measurement

Measure Glass Dimensions

Measure and record the glass width (W) and height (H) for installation.

Patterned Glass Orientation

Patterned glass should be installed with the wider border at the bottom.

Cutting Vertical U-Channel

Cut the Vertical U-Channel to the specified height for the 72" model.

Installation Step 4: Marking and Alignment

Marking Bottom U-Channel

Mark at least three (3) holes for securing the Bottom U-Channel to the threshold.

Aligning Inline Panel Glass

Align inline panel glass parallel to the door, place U-channel, and mark the threshold.

Installation Step 5: Securing U-Channels

Securing to Acrylic Threshold

Drill Ø1/8" holes and use screws for installation into an acrylic threshold.

Securing to Tile Threshold

Drill appropriate holes into studs for installation into a tile threshold.

Installation Step 6: Countersinking Screws

Glass Protection via Countersinking

Ensure screws are fully countersunk to prevent damage to the glass.

Installation Step 7: PVC Glass Spacers

Cutting PVC Glass Spacers

Cut several 2"-3" pieces of the PVC Glass Spacer 0.5mm.

Installing PVC Glass Spacers

Install cut PVC Glass Spacer pieces into the Bottom U-Channel, not one continuous piece.

Installation Step 8: Strike Vinyl Placement

Strike Vinyl Orientation and Notching

Determine strike vinyl orientation and cut a 1" notch for a tight fit around the Bottom U-Channel.

Installation Step 9: Panel Insertion

Vertical U-Channel Placement

Place the Vertical U-Channel on top of the Bottom U-Channel for the installation.

Panel Glass Insertion

Insert the panel glass into the vertical and bottom U-channels as shown.

Installation Step 10: Panel Alignment and Adjustment

Dry-Fitting Single Panel Glass

Optionally dry-fit the Panel Glass into the U-channels before marking the Vertical U-Channel position.

Inline Panel Alignment and Sealing

Align panel glass for a good seal with the door glass before marking the Vertical U-Channel.

Adjusting Panel Level with Spacers

Use PVC Glass Spacers to level panel glass with the door, not exceeding 1/4" adjustment.

Installation Step 11: Wall Mounting Holes

Drilling for Studded Walls

Drill into studs using appropriate bit sizes for secure mounting of the Vertical U-Channel.

Drilling for Non-Studded Walls

Drill holes and insert wall anchors for mounting the Vertical U-Channel when no stud is present.

Marking Vertical U-Channel Holes

Mark at least four (4) holes for accurately positioning the Vertical U-Channel on the wall.

Installation Step 12: Securing Vertical U-Channel

Securing Vertical U-Channel

Secure the Vertical U-Channel to the wall using screws, ensuring it sits atop the Bottom U-Channel.

Glass Protection during Securing

Ensure screws are fully countersunk to prevent damage to the glass.

Installation Step 13: Bottom U-Channel Spacers

Applying Silicone and Spacers

Apply silicone into the Bottom U-Channel, then install PVC Glass Spacers to protect the glass bottom edge.

Installation Step 14: Final Glass Insertion

Sliding Panel Glass into U-Channels

Slide the panel glass into the vertical U-channel first, then down into the bottom U-channel.

Installation Step 15: Silicone Curing

Final Silicone Application and Curing

Ensure surfaces are clean before applying silicone and allow 24 hours for it to cure before use.
